Yellow Vein Kratom

What is Yellow Vein Kratom?

Yellow vein kratom is considered one of the more rare types of kratom and wasn’t widely available for purchase until recently. But yellow vein kratom’s growing popularity has meant that more and more people are gaining an interest in this unique type of kratom.

There has been some debate as to where yellow vein kratom originated and where it lands on the scale of currently available kratom types, which include green, red, and white. One camp claims that yellow vein kratom results from picking the leaf at a later growth stage, which gives it it’s unique yellow coloring. However, the most agreed upon source is that it’s the result of a different drying technique and is a type of white vein kratom. The different drying technique alters the final color of the vein. This theory is also supported by the fact that red, green, and white are the only documented types of kratom.

If yellow vein kratom is genuinely a white vein kratom that changes when dried differently, then this drying technique also produces some markedly different effects.

Users of yellow vein kratom describe the effects as being closer to that of green Malay, which is known to be a potent strain that produces intense feelings of euphoria and a solid dose of energy. It is also known to help relieve feelings of anxiety and unease. It’s a longer-lasting strain that white vein kratom and will provide a more extended period of relief from pain, a better mood, and heightened concentration.

White vein kratom, on the other hand, produces a cleaner effect much more similar to caffeine. White vein kratom has become the morning go-to for many people trying to kick their caffeine habit.

While yellow vein kratom is still considered somewhat of a rarity, growing interest has meant that more and more suppliers are stocking it. Because yellow vein kratom isn’t a type in itself and results from a different drying technique, make sure your supplier is reputable and isn’t trying to pass off dyed white vein kratom.
